Simon comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm. Frank Rizzo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rizzo under the eye.
It looks like Frank Rizzo has been cut.
Rizzo throws a head kick that misses.
Simon wants to slow Rizzo down by chopping away at his legs.
Simon throws a right and a left that Rizzo avoids nicely.
Simon scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Simon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rizzo throws a head kick but Simon moves out of range.
Simon tries to counter with a takedown but Rizzo is quick to defend against it.
Simon clinches up against the cage.
Rizzo is trying to break the clinch but Simon has him pressed against the cage.

Simon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rizzo backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
