Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mack McKuchi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valencia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Valencia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McKuchi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McKuchi misses with a double jab

and Valencia holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

McKuchi wants to break free but Valencia has control.

Valencia gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Valencia keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McKuchi's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McKuchi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Valencia is looking to work some ground and pound but McKuchi has wrist control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McKuchi throws an overhand right that lands on Valencia's shoulder, as Valencia tries to avoid the shot.
As McKuchi looks to move away, Valencia throws a big counter combo bu McKuchi just gets out of the way.
Valencia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

so Valencia counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McKuchi is looking to stand back up but Valencia counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by McKuchi.

Valencia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Valencia is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McKuchi defends it well.

Valencia has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McKuchi defend it? Valencia steps over the head and cranks it - McKuchi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Valencia!
