The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kontos leaves Orwell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kontos sizes up Orwell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Owen Orwell has been cut.
Orwell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kontos as he avoids it easily.
Kontos is looking to counter the offense by Orwell and move into the clinch.
Orwell fails with a takedown attempt.
Stelio Kontos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Owen Orwell.
Kontos throws a lazy right hand but Orwell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Orwell drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kontos defends it well.
Kontos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kontos throws a head punch that misses.
Kontos lands a hook that snaps the head of Orwell backwards.
Kontos breaks from the clinch.
Kontos throws the left hand but Orwell avoids the punch easily.
Kontos throws a hook but Orwell avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kontos. Orwell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Orwell changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Orwell shoots in but no luck this time.

Orwell moves away from the strike by Kontos.
Orwell shoots for a takedown but Kontos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kontos misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Orwell.
Horrible takedown attempt by Orwell or perhaps it was just good defense by Kontos, which made it look bad.
As Orwell tries to get set, Kontos tries to push him back and clinch up but Orwell manages to avoid the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Orwell instigates a clinch.
Orwell looking to slow down the pace here.
Kontos tries to work over Orwell's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kontos tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kontos throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Orwells head.
Kontos is leaning against Orwell and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head punch on the inside from Kontos fails to land.
Orwell prevents a body shot from Kontos.
Kontos gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Orwell.

Kontos lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Orwell backwards.
Kontos lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kontos digs a right hand into Orwell's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Orwell's gas tank.
Orwell looks winded!
Kontos works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kontos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kontos thuds his right hand into Orwell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Orwell is rocked!
Kontos is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kontos lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Orwell falls backwards - clearly groggy! Kontos dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
