PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gnaeus Maximilianus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jori Hurtta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hurtta is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by pull my finger. Jori Hurtta will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximilianus shoots for a takedown but Hurtta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Maximilianus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Maximilianus tries to close the distance and clinch but Hurtta swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Maximilianus shoots in looking for a takedown. Hurtta tries to sprawl out of it but Maximilianus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hurtta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gnaeus Maximilianus .
