Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Drone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Innes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Innes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Innes throws a big counter head kick but Drone avoids it with no problem.
Innes tries to clinch up.
No joy there for Innes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Innes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drone circles away.
We've been informed that Innes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Drone could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Innes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Drone gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Innes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Drone holds on and takes a little breather.

Innes has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Drone keeps the fight on the outside.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Innes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Drone counters with a straight right hand.

Drone lands with a hook. Innes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Innes closes the distance and clinches up with Drone, looking for a takedown. Innes pushes Drone against the cage but Drone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Drone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Innes circles away quickly and effectively.

Innes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Drone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Innes scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drone cracks Innes with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Drone lands a left and a right that send Innes crashing to the mat, dazed. Drone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Innes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Innes is still on wobbly legs! Can Drone finish him?
Drone lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Innes goes down and covers up as Drone starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
