Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Placencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Combo King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Placencia's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem - The Monster Ft. Rihanna. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Combo King!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King cracks a nice hook into Placencia's ribs.
Placencia is looking to clinch but King is avoiding it.
Placencia throws a series of punches but King avoids them all with ease.
King tries a low kick but Placencia avoids it.
A decent looking cross lands there for King.
Placencia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
King ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
King throws a sloppy head kick and Placencia moves out of range easily.
Placencia connects with a right hand. King shakes it off.
King throws a right and a left that Placencia avoids nicely.

King darts in and clinches Placencia up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Placencia is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

King manages to break the clinch.
King swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Placencia counters with a takedown into side control.
Placencia scores with punches from side control.
Placencia wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
An elbow from Placencia crashes against the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Placencia is controlling him well.

Placencia has hold of King's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! King tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Placencia cranks the arm and King screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from King, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
