Partner clinches up with Washington and pushes him back against the cage.

Washington goes for a takedown attempt but Partner pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Partner has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Washington is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Partner darts in and clinches Washington up against the cage.

Partner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Washington swings for the body but Partner moves out of range.

Partner lands a big head kick that sends Washington tumbling to the mat! Partner takes a step backwards and waves Washington back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tyron Washington has been cut.

Washington is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Partner just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Washington has gone limp and this one is over!

Jim Partner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
