Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapanie misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Alston holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lapanie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lapanie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alston tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lapanie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alston somewhat.

Alston closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lapanie to the mat! Lapanie manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lapanie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Alston is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lapanie has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Alston has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Well Lapanie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
