Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Van Hinkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eli Rush has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eli Rush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marvin Van Hinkel!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Hinkel scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Van Hinkel thumps Rush with a low kick.

Rush manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Van Hinkel on his heels. He'll look to pass Van Hinkel's guard now, I'm sure.
Van Hinkel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rush is controlling him.
Rush is looking to work some ground and pound but Van Hinkel has wrist control.
Van Hinkel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rush postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Van Hinkel wants to stand up but Rush is controlling him.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rush's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rush works over Van Hinkel with some ground and pound from guard.
Rush postures up in Van Hinkel's guard and throws a big left but Van Hinkel blocks it.
Rush controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rush lands a couple of elbows.
Van Hinkel is looking to stand up but Rush isn't so interested in that idea.
Rush postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rush keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Van Hinkel's head.
Rush cracks Van Hinkel with a solid left hand.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rush's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rush working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Van Hinkel's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Van Hinkel is wriggling around but Rush manages to pass to half guard.

Rush stands up and beckons Van Hinkel to join him on the feet.
Van Hinkel connects with a body shot.
Van Hinkel misses with a looping left.
Van Hinkel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Van Hinkel thuds his right hand into Rush's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Rush is rocked!

It looks like Eli Rush has been cut.
No joy there for Van Hinkel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Rush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rush slips a jab and a cross from Van Hinkel.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Hinkel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As Van Hinkel tries to get set, Rush tries to push him back and clinch up but Van Hinkel manages to avoid the attempt.
Rush takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Van Hinkel cracks Rush with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rush tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Van Hinkel pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rush is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marvin Van Hinkel!
