Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blake Halder!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halder goes for a double leg but Emelianenko avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Emelianenko continues to drive forward.
Emelianenko throws a low kick, looking for Halder's leg but Halder calmly moves out of range.
Halder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Emelianenko as he jumps to the side.
Emelianenko tries to clinch there but Halder circles away.
Halder throws a solid leg kick but Emelianenko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Halder.
Emelianenko's corner calls for a 1-2. Emelianenko obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Halder misses with a body shot.
Emelianenko misses with a body kick.
Emelianenko waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Halder.
Halder lands with a kick to the ribs.

Halder darts in and clinches Emelianenko up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Halder shoots in looking for a takedown but Emelianenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Halder's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Halder was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

and Emelianenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Emelianenko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Emelianenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Halder lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Halder lands a big elbow - Emelianenko is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Halder!
