Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey Jits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skap Hazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skap Hazard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jits on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jits walks into a jab.
Jits ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jits drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hazard sprawls and moves away.

Jits shoots in and bounces Hazard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jits might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jits postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hazard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jits, into his guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hazard working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hazard distracts Jits with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hazard tries to free his leg and advance position but Jits is retaining full guard.
Hazard lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hazard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jits escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hazard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jits has momentary wrist control but Hazard slips an elbow through the middle.

Hazard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jits has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hazard has managed to get both his arms back between Jits's legs - danger averted.

Hazard stands up over Jits, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Jits working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hazard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hazard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well, if Hazard is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hazard cracks Jits with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Skap Hazard seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hazard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jits looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hazard has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Jits darts in looking for a takedown but Hazard gets double underhooks and turns Jits into the cage.
Jits shoots for a double leg takedown but Hazard sprawls well. He's pushed Jits's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hazard lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jits throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hazard's waist but Hazard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jits off to one side.

Jits with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hazard to score with a decent uppercut.

Oh Jits is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hazard has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hazard might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Jits uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hazard.
Jits shoots in looking for a takedown but Hazard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jits's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Skap Hazard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
