The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chikono throws a good cross that connects.

Chikono had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Burnett is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Chikono Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Burnett's back instead.

Chikono throws a right and a left that Burnett avoids nicely.

Burnett works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Chikono manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Burnett is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Chikono knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Chikono for a finish.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Burnett is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Chikono locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Burnett is forced to tap!
