Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Barbee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and taylor park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from park misses the target.
Barbee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
park tries to clinch but Barbee moves out of range.

park tries to lock up and control but Barbee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
park is trying to reverse the position but instead Barbee has taken his back - oops!

park is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Barbee gets his way!

park tightens his grip and picks Barbee up, before dumping him to the ground. Barbee manages to land in guard.

park gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That was a close round but I would say that Ricky Barbee will probably get the nod.

park has Barbee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. park pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Barbee tumbling to the mat - park dives into Barbee's guard.

park looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Barbee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well park has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
