Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avery Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Ledoux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ledoux shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Marquez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ledoux wants to pass the guard but Marquez is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ledoux closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Marquez did well to prevent Ledoux getting side control.

Ledoux shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marquez sprawls well. Marquez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ledoux gets slowly back to his feet.
Marquez is looking to counter the offense by Ledoux and move into the clinch.

Ledoux seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Marquez's chin but Marquez turns very nicely into Ledoux's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Marquez.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ledoux is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Marquez is looking to clinch but Ledoux is avoiding it.

Marquez wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Marquez shoots for a double leg takedown but Ledoux sprawls well. He's pushed Marquez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ledoux changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Ledoux bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Marquez tries to escape back to his feet but Ledoux has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Marquez's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Marquez is tapping! Ledoux saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
