The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macdonnell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McCutchen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Macdonnell swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Macdonnell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McCutchen throws a front kick aimed at Macdonnell's knee but Macdonnell avoids it well.

Macdonnell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

McCutchen has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Macdonnell uses from the top position.

Macdonnell is looking to clinch but McCutchen is avoiding it.
McCutchen closes the distance and clinches up with Macdonnell, looking for a takedown. McCutchen pushes Macdonnell against the cage but Macdonnell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Macdonnell wants to clinch up but McCutchen keeps it at a distance.

Macdonnell wants to improve his position but McCutchen is controlling well.

McCutchen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
McCutchen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

McCutchen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Macdonnell is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
