Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mick McManus!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McManus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
McManus kicks Vukovic off and gets to his feet.
Mick McManus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vukovic throws a head kick that half lands.
McManus lands a big uppercut and Vukovic crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vukovic looks OK. McManus waves Vukovic back to his feet!
Vukovic is rocked!
It looks like Mirko Vukovic has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vukovic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Vukovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McManus lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Vukovic up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs McManus from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Vukovic's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mick McManus!
Mick McManus decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Mirko Vukovic was interviewed post fight and said 'Unlucky'.
