Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moff Brighton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabbar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Passion Pit - Carried Away. Moff Brighton could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hakeem Jabbar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Moff Brighton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hakeem Jabbar!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brighton misses with a takedown attempt - Jabbar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jabbar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brighton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jabbar somewhat.
Brighton tries to clinch but Jabbar is having none of it.
Jabbar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


It looks like Moff Brighton has been cut.

Jabbar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Brighton wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jabbar is thwarting Brighton's attempts to control the position.
Brighton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jabbar working over Brighton with some ground and pound. Brighton looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jabbar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jabbar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Brighton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brighton tries to get out of the position.
Jabbar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Jabbar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Brighton tries to kick Jabbar off but Jabbar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Brighton is looking for a sweep. Jabbar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jabbar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jabbar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brighton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jabbar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jabbar thows a huge punch but Brighton dodges it nicely.

Jabbar stands up and beckons Brighton to join him on the feet.
Hakeem Jabbar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jabbar cracks Brighton with a big right hand and Brighton goes down!


Brighton is rocked!
Brighton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jabbar stops Brighton from standing up.
Brighton keeping moving, preventing Jabbar from controlling successfully.
Jabbar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Brighton pulls Jabbar in close to his closed guard and prevents Jabbar from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jabbar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Brighton wants to get back to his feet but Jabbar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Brighton drops his hands momentarily and Jabbar needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Brighton just on the top of the head. Brighton drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Brighton - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hakeem Jabbar!
Hakeem Jabbar seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
