The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekkane lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hero Of Time's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hero Of Time duly obliges.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Pekkane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hero Of Time looking to score a takedown here. Pekkane is defending well but Hero Of Time drives through and ends up in Pekkane's guard.
Pekkane is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hero Of Time dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pekkane wants to control but Hero Of Time postures up.
Hero Of Time misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hero Of Time connects with a nice short shot to Pekkane's temple.

Hero Of Time looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pekkane with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pekkane has his foot on Hero Of Time's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hero Of Time works his way back into a safe position though.

Pekkane manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Oh Pekkane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pekkane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hero Of Time as he jumps to the side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pekkane seems to have got his legs back now.
Pekkane tries to keep at a distance but Hero Of Time has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hero Of Time slows down the pace here.
Hero Of Time manages to pull guard.
Pekkane throws a strike but Hero Of Time rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hero Of Time has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Pekkane is trying to control the position but Hero Of Time postures up.

Pekkane wants to sweep here but Hero Of Time controlling him for the moment.
Hero Of Time gets to his feet. Pekkane looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Pekkane wants to clinch but Hero Of Time slips to the side
and Hero Of Time counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Pekkane down! Hero Of Time is looking to finish but Pekkane is intelligently defending himself.
Hero Of Time loads up on a big left hand. Pekkane felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hero Of Time looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Pekkane can't hide his disappointment, as Hero Of Time celebrates the victory.
