The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghotha slips under a jab from Heggs.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ghotha or perhaps it was just good defense by Heggs, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heggs lands a nice looking body shot.
Heggs lands a nice hook to Ghotha's body. Ghotha takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Ghotha has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Heggs throws a nice looking combination but Ghotha bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Heggs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Heggs closes the distance and clinches.
Ghotha is trying to drag Heggs to the mat but Heggs just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ghotha looks up at the clock. Bad move! Heggs lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ghotha. Heggs pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
