The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barraga Jr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barraga Jr lands in his opponent's guard.

Barraga Jr drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tango dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tango got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barraga Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tango has managed to get both his arms back between Barraga Jr's legs - danger averted.

Tango seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barraga Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
