Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mieczyslaw Okninski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Bones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mieczyslaw Okninski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Bones!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones pivots, looking for a leg kick but Okninski is out of range and Bones settles back down.
Okninski lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Bones sprawling to the canvas. Okninski follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bones hang on?
It looks like Jon Bones has been cut.
Still in half guard, Okninski seems content to control.
Bones trying to control but Okninski postures up.
Okninski is taking a breather. Bones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Okninski gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Okninski lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Bones up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Okninski from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Bones's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mieczyslaw Okninski!
