Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Mifune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mifune comes to the cage accompanied by BABYMETAL - Uki Uki ★ Midnight . Tatsuya Mifune has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tatsuya Mifune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Brody!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mifune looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mifune scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Mifune will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mifune drops an elbow to the side of Brody's head.
Brody looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mifune lands a nice short elbow.

Mifune works his way into side control.
Brody takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Brody takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Mifune working the ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mifune landing a few strikes.

Brody is rocked!

Brody is still in real trouble! Can Mifune finish him?
Brody really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mifune. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mifune lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Brody down.
Mifune looks up at the clock and then as Brody takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mifune smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Mifune cracks Brody with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Mifune lands a strong strike to the head of Brody. That's dazed him! Mifune looking to finish here. Brody is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Mifune lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tatsuya Mifune!
