Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rasputin Erasmus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erasmus comes to the cage accompanied by Rasputin. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, David Tennant!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant throws a right and a left that both miss.
Erasmus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tennant keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Erasmus.
Erasmus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tennant.
Tennant misses with a wild body shot.
Erasmus avoids the body shot from Tennant.
Erasmus connects with a body shot that sends Tennant's belly button to the back.
Tennant misses with a straight left.
Tennant throws out a loose jab but Erasmus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tennant swings away with a body shot that misses
and Erasmus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A big left from Erasmus misses.
Tennant throws out a counter right but Erasmus avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tennant misses with a wild combination.
Tennant moves out of range as Erasmus strikes.
A jab from Erasmus misses.
Tennant will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tennant throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tennant throws the left hand but Erasmus avoids the punch easily.
Erasmus half committed to a counter leg kick.
Tennant throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tennant on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Erasmus. Erasmus obviously looking to wear him down.
Left hook, right uppercut from Tennant.

It looks like Rasputin Erasmus has been cut.
Tennant's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tennant duly obliges.
Tennant tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tennant tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Erasmus was well out of range. Poor timing from Tennant.
A lazy left from Erasmus finds it's target.
Tennant throws a combination that misses
letting Erasmus counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tennant takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We've been told by Erasmus's head coaches at Fighting Fitness & Freedom that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tennant misses with a combination
and Erasmus counters with a nice body kick.
Tennant looks winded!
Tennant takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Erasmus takes a swing at Tennant's ribcage but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Erasmus feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tennant sprawling to the canvas! Tennant rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Erasmus finish him?!

Tennant is rocked!
Erasmus looks to throw the jab but Tennant is out of range.
Tennant is still on wobbly legs! Can Erasmus finish him?
Erasmus measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Tennant! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
