The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott misses with a series of wild punches.
Scott throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Jackson drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Scott is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea.
Jackson looking to pass the guard.
Jackson prevents Scott from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Scott dips to his left and cracks Jackson with an uppercut!
Scott lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
Some wild striking there from Scott.
No joy there for Scott, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jackson walks into a straight right hand from Scott.
Jackson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lewis Scott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Scott has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

Jackson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Scott is trying to escape and Jackson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Scott is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jackson! Very nice indeed!
