Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dong shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Laya manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dong wants to pass the guard but Laya is keeping the position.

Dong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but Laya is retaining full guard.
Dong sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Laya's guard.
Dong is looking to advance position but Laya won't allow it.

Dong is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dong looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dong working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Laya's thigh. Laya counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but Laya is retaining full guard.
Laya not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Laya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dong on the ground.
Dong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dong stands and throws Laya's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Dong has hold of Laya's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Laya seems comfortable defending it but Dong has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Laya is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Laya is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dong couldn't care less - he's delighted!
