Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guru Majja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama said knock you out. Majja has chosen Afroman - Because I Got High as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Majja uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Couture has time to react.

and Majja counters with a leg kick.
Couture is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Couture is breathing heavily.
Majja fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Majja feints and then cracks Couture's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Couture down.
Couture misses the jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Majja.
Majja lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Majja fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Couture.
Majja moves away from the strike by Couture.

Majja lands a big head kick that sends Couture tumbling to the mat! Majja takes a step backwards and waves Couture back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Couture is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Majja lands with a good body shot.
Majja connects with a solid leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Couture is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Couture crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Majja - the referee stops the clock and Couture gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Majja. Couture manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Guru Majja decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
