Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yahaya Axelsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boleslaw Wstydliwy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axelsson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And Wstydliwy tries to counter it with a takedown but Axelsson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Axelsson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wstydliwy defends well and Axelsson ends up having to push Wstydliwy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Axelsson stuffs the takedown.
Axelsson misses with a two punch combination.
Wstydliwy is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Wstydliwy wants to clinch.
It looked like Axelsson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wstydliwy.
Axelsson fails to land with a series of punches.
Wstydliwy tries to clinch there but Axelsson circles away.
Wstydliwy lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Axelsson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Wstydliwy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Wstydliwy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Axelsson's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Axelsson is trying to maintain the position but Wstydliwy is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Wstydliwy tries for a takedown but Axelsson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Axelsson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wstydliwy tries to kick Axelsson off in order to stand up. Axelsson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Wstydliwy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Axelsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Axelsson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wstydliwy keeps working.
Axelsson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wstydliwy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Axelsson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Axelsson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wstydliwy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Wstydliwy instigates a clinch.
Axelsson is trying to stall.
Axelsson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wstydliwy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Axelsson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wstydliwy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Axelsson somewhat.

Wstydliwy stuns Axelsson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Wstydliwy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Axelsson sprawls well initially but Wstydliwy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wstydliwy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Axelsson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wstydliwy.

Wstydliwy misses with a takedown attempt - Axelsson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Axelsson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wstydliwy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Axelsson but great work by Wstydliwy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wstydliwy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Axelsson circles away.
Axelsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wstydliwy moves away.
Wstydliwy is looking to clinch but Axelsson is avoiding it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Axelsson is looking to reverse the position.
Axelsson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Boleslaw Wstydliwy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Axelsson won't allow Wstydliwy to pass to mount.

Wstydliwy shoots in and bounces Axelsson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Axelsson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wstydliwy defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Axelsson wants to sweep but no luck.

Wstydliwy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Axelsson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wstydliwy, into his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Axelsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Wstydliwy is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wstydliwy.
Axelsson is looking to clinch but Wstydliwy is avoiding it.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Boleslaw Wstydliwy.
I think Wstydliwy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
