Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andr De Fran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crane might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Way of The Ninja. De Fran is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: No Worries. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane works De Fran's body with a nice hook.
Crane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from De Fran, right into the meat.

and De Fran connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Crane throws a lazy right hand but De Fran sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Crane pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces De Fran back to the cage. Crane follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Crane jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from De Fran in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
