Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scot Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kei Mugno!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mugno shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sanchez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sanchez is looking to stand back up but Mugno counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sanchez.

Sanchez is trying to maintain the position but Mugno is very close to passing his half guard.
Mugno takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mugno throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mugno is controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mugno tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sanchez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sanchez is trying to stand.
Sanchez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Well, if Mugno is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mugno throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sanchez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mugno takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sanchez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mugno.

Mugno escapes and gets back to his feet.
Mugno lands a big right hook! Sanchez looks hurt but is still standing! Mugno lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Sanchez falls down and Mugno dives in with a huge hammer fist! Sanchez's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Mugno runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kei Mugno!
