The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Andre has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Johnson tries to land knees in the clinch but Andre avoids the damage to the body.
The referee is keeping an eye on Andre - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Andre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnson smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Andre is defended easily by Johnson.
Andre fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but Andre persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Andre is trying for a kimura here. Johnson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Andre wins by kimura!
