Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saint Nick!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nick fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Ramon closes the distance and pushes Nick back into the cage.
Ramon lands with a left to the head.
Ramon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nick backwards.
Nick prevents a body shot from Ramon.
A right hand to the body from Ramon.
Ramon lands with a right to the head.

Ramon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nick throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ramon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ramon misses with a double jab
and Nick counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nick lands a head shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nick tries to break the clinch but Ramon is controlling the position.
A left hand lands to the body for Ramon.

Ramon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nick backwards.

Ramon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nick scores with a nice strike.
Ramon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Reyaldo Ramon has been cut.
Nick cracks Ramon with a good jab.
Nick lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nick is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Ramon drives through and clinches with Nick against the cage.

Nick tries to break the clinch but Ramon is controlling the position.
Nick wants to get back to striking at distance but Ramon won't allow it.
Nick is trying to force a seperation but Ramon has the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ramon moves forwards but Nick connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Ramon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A frustrated look appears on Nick's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nick steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ramon.
Ramon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nick.

Ramon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nick, pushing him back against the cage.
Nick blocks a body shot from Ramon.

Ramon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ramon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nick throws out a counter right but Ramon avoids it with no problem.
Ramon scores with a sloppy right hand. Nick should have avoided that one.
Nick throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nick dodges the punch combination from Ramon.

Ramon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Ramon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Ramon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ramon throws a body shot but no joy.
Reyaldo Ramon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ramon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ramon throws an off balance right hand
and Nick counters with a nice uppercut.
Nick looks to score with a jab to the body but Ramon is just out of range.
Nick misses with a wild body shot.
Ramon fails to land with a series of punches.
Nick doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Nick lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nick tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ramon was well out of range. Poor timing from Nick.

Ramon clinches up with Nick and pushes him back against the cage.

Ramon manages to break the clinch.
Ramon tries to close the distance and clinch but Nick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ramon misses with a left hand
and Nick connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Nick scores with a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nick ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ramon moves away.
Saint Nick seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ramon throws a lazy right hand but Nick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ramon throws a hook but Nick blocks it.
Ramon misses the body punch

and Nick counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ramon! Nick lets Ramon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Ramon is rocked!
Nick ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Ramon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nick cracks Ramon on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ramon falls backwards against the cage. Nick follows up with more strikes that drop Ramon to his knees. Nick keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ramon! This one is all over!
