The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Cioran as Unz shoots in.
Cioran tries to counter by clinching up but Unz breaks away and moves out of range.
Unz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cioran as he avoids it easily.

Unz gets tackled into the cage by Cioran. Cioran maintains the clinch.
Unz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cioran just stands there and leans against the cage.
Emil Cioran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Unz Unz.
Cioran lands with a left to the head.
Cioran presses Unz against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Cioran lands a nice shot to the body.
A nice left hand lands by Cioran.
Unz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cioran is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Cioran gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Unz.
Unz takes a shot to the head.
Cioran lands with a light punch inside.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Unz wants to take the fight to the mat but Cioran manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Cioran lands a right hand that snaps the head of Unz backwards.
Cioran pushes Unz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Cioran swings wildly with an uppercut but Unz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cioran throws a punch but it's blocked by Unz.

Unz seems to have recovered his senses.

Cioran scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Cioran dips a shoulder and cracks Unz with a mighty uppercut! Unz falls back against the cage and Cioran unloads with a barrage of strikes! Unz is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Cioran screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
