Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amber Ale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caleb Smith will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amber Ale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caleb Smith!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a high kick!
Ale fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Smith looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ale shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ale dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Ale's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amber Ale. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ale misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice takedown defense from Smith. No joy for Ale on that attempt.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith feints the counter takedown.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ale off to one side.
Smith throws a head kick that half lands.

Ale is rocked!
Smith looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Smith backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Ale's temple! It sends Ale violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Smith celebrates and the doctors try to help Ale!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Caleb Smith!
In his post fight interview, Caleb Smith started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
