Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drogo throws a leg kick which misses Aureus's front leg but catches the back leg as Aureus tries to avoid it.

Aureus closes the distance and clinches.
Drogo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Aureus avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Aureus lands a hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Khal Drogo has been cut.
Drogo blocking some punches.
Aureus throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Drogos head.
Drogo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Aureus is defending well.
Aureus misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khal Drogo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aureus lands a hook that snaps the head of Drogo backwards.
Aureus misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Drogo.
Drogo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drogo pulls Aureus into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aureus connects with a couple of short punches.
Drogo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Aureus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drogo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Aureus lands a couple of elbows.
Aureus won't allow Drogo to sweep him here.
Aureus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Aureus is working Drogo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Aureus won't allow Drogo to sweep him here.

Jeez, Khal Drogo's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Khal Drogo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
