The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forclit tries to close the distance and clinch but Trujillo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Trujillo doesn't manage to clinch there - Forclit circles away.
Trujillo backing away here, and Forclit unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Trujillo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Forclit manages to avoid it.

Forclit has taken the fight to the clinch.
Trujillo fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Forclit fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Trujillo, pushing him back against the cage.

Trujillo gets control of Forclit's arms and successfully pulls guard. Trujillo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Trujillo wants to sweep here but Forclit controlling him for the moment.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Forclit working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Trujillo has momentary wrist control but Forclit slips an elbow through the middle.

Forclit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Trujillo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Forclit.

Forclit chips away with some ground and pound.

Trujillo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Forclit defends well.

Forclit lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Forclit throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trujillo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Trujillo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Forclit is aware though and is defending well.
Forclit throws a strike but Trujillo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Forclit defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Trujillo.
Forclit moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Forclit.
Trujillo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

As Trujillo backs off Forclit throws a huge counter combo but Trujillo manages to avoid it all.

Forclit lands with a shot to the body.
Forclit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Trujillo circles away quickly and effectively.

Trujillo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Forclit throws a right hand that Trujillo ducks under and follows up with a left that Trujillo also avoids with ease.

Happy Forclit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Forclit throws a nice inside leg kick.
Forclit drops Trujillo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Trujillo! Forclit dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
