Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rhaegar Targaryen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remigijus Morkevicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Remigijus Morkevicius is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morkevicius swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Morkevicius forces Targaryen back against the cage and clinches.
Morkevicius tries to pull guard but Targaryen won't allow it.
Targaryen holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Morkevicius prevents Targaryen from breaking the clinch.
Targaryen stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Targaryen misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morkevicius escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Targaryen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Targaryen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Targaryen lands in his opponent's guard.
Morkevicius really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Targaryen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Targaryen distracts Morkevicius with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Morkevicius is trying to control the position but Targaryen postures up.
Targaryen connects with a couple of short punches.
Targaryen controls from within his opponent's guard.
Targaryen throws an elbow that misses. Morkevicius uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Targaryen's guard. Nice move by Morkevicius!
Targaryen wants to sweep here but Morkevicius controlling him for the moment.
Targaryen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are battling for position here. Targaryen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Targaryen controls Morkevicius momentarily but Morkevicius frees himself.

Targaryen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Morkevicius defends well.
Targaryen has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Targaryen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Morkevicius has his hands clasped together but Targaryen extends and breaks Morkevicius's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Targaryen.
