Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Halo Barbado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moses Pharuqe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halo Barbado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Pharuqe or perhaps it was just good defense by Barbado, which made it look bad.
Barbado is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Pharuqe moves in looking to clinch but Barbado pushes him off.
And Barbado counters with a quick kick to the body but Pharuqe blocks it.
Pharuqe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barbado moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pharuqe shoots in looking for a takedown. Barbado tries to sprawl out of it but Pharuqe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barbado manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barbado ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pharuqe moves away.
Pharuqe unleashes a big counter combination but Barbado bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pharuqe tries to clinch but Barbado moves out of range.
Barbado appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Pharuqe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barbado napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Barbado gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Pharuqe is trying to control the action in half guard but Barbado is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Barbado moves into full guard.
Barbado is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Pharuqe frees his head nicely. Oh but Barbado has switched to an armbar! Pharuqe is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
