Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Torepalma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferrigno fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Torepalma sprawls well initially but Ferrigno persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ferrigno connects with a nice short shot to Torepalma's temple.

Torepalma pushes Ferrigno off and gets back to his feet.
Torepalma shoots in looking for a takedown but Ferrigno manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Torepalma's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Torepalma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ferrigno moves away.

Torepalma rushes Ferrigno and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ferrigno has hold of one of Torepalma's legs. Torepalma is fighting the takedown attempt but Ferrigno gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Torepalma has one foot on Ferrigno's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Torepalma is pressed up against the cage. Ferrigno has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Torepalma down to the mat. Torepalma avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Torepalma gets caught napping as Ferrigno dives in and scores a takedown. Torepalma manages to retain guard.

Torepalma is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ferrigno presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
