Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flavius Odoacer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Kocur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odoacer comes to the cage accompanied by Entrance of the Gladiator. Kocur is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by This Fire Burns - Killswitch Engage. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odoacer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kocur will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kocur takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've been informed that Kocur has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Odoacer blocks the body kick.
Kocur lands a leg kick that knocks Odoacer off balance momentarily.
Kocur connects with a solid leg kick.
A low kick from Kocur is predictable there
and Odoacer counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Odoacer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kocur fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kocur feints a jab promting Odoacer to slip. Kocur then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Odoacer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Odoacer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kocur at a distance.
Kocur goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Odoacer misses its target.
Kocur misses with a two punch combination.
Kocur ducks right into an uppercut from Odoacer.
Joey Kocur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kocur darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Odoacer gets a takedown into half guard.

Odoacer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kocur is just riding it out for now. Odoacer eventually gives up the hold.

Odoacer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kocur defends it well.

Kocur tries to get to full guard but Odoacer has control of the leg.
Odoacer is trying to control. Kocur wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kocur throws a lazy right hand but Odoacer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kocur tries to close the distance and clinch up but Odoacer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice uppercut lands for Odoacer. That snapped Kocur's head back.
Kocur throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kocur keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Odoacer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kocur was well out of range. Poor timing from Odoacer.

Kocur fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Joey Kocur seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Odoacer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Odoacer is rocked!
Odoacer switches off momentarily and Kocur cracks him with a monster right hand! Odoacer topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Kocur dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Kocur!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joey Kocur!
A relieved looking Joey Kocur thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
