Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pernell Whitaker Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernhard Adelhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adelhard has chosen Godsmack - I Stand Alone as his entrance music. Bernhard Adelhard told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Adelhard has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Adelhard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Whitaker Jr walks away with a smile on his face. Adelhard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Adelhard scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Whitaker Jr doesn't seem bothered though.

Adelhard does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pernell Whitaker Jr will probably get the nod.
