And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zantos clinches up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Mcfadden's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Zantos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zantos moves into range and clinches up with Mcfadden.
Mcfadden wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zantos has him pressed against the cage.
Zantos has Mcfadden pressed against the cage, preventing Mcfadden from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Zantos jumps guard and drags Mcfadden to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Mcfadden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zantos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zantos is trying to control the position but Mcfadden postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zantos has control of Mcfadden's left arm, preventing Mcfadden from doing any damage.

Mcfadden has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mcfadden slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Zantos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Zantos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mcfadden doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Zantos is tightening it up a little... Mcfadden has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mcfadden reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mcfadden taps out! Nice BJJ there by Zantos!
