The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers lands a glancing blow to the side of Milat's head.
Rivers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rivers plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Milat is rocked!

It looks like Ivan Milat has been cut.
Milat misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rivers.
Oh Milat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rivers misses with an attempted mid kick.

Rivers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Milat throws a head kick that misses.
Rivers misses with a looping left.
Milat scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Milat throws a body punch but Rivers moves out of range.
Milat swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rivers.
Milat uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rivers.
Milat takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Milat's corner calls for a 1-2. Milat obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Milat plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Rivers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Milat pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rivers back to the cage. Milat follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Milat fakes the body blow, causing Rivers to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Rivers goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
