Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gus Sargent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sondey Inegy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inegy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sargent to the mat! Sargent manages to get full guard.

Sargent knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Inegy on the ground.
Inegy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Sargent has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Inegy has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Inegy postures up in Sargent's guard and throws a big left but Sargent blocks it.
Inegy wants to control from the top but Sargent keeps moving.

Sargent is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Inegy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Inegy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sargent knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Inegy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
