Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Taka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Taka!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taka misses with an uppercut
and Bones counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Bones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Taka is just riding it out for now. Bones eventually gives up the hold.
We've been hearing good reports from Bones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Taka pushes Bones off looking to stand but Bones dives back in and keeps control.
Bones is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Taka is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bobby Bones!
