Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baybay Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Baybay Kang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Baybay Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Georges Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hughes fails to land with a series of punches.
A leg kick checked by Kang.
Kang slips under a jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hughes.
Kang connects with a jab.
Kang cracks Hughes with an open hand slap.
Kang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hughes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kang throws out a leg kick but Hughes moves out of range and Kang only half commits.
Kang moves out of range of the strikes.
A swing and a miss from Hughes.

Hughes clinches up with Kang and pushes him back against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kang doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Hughes has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kang regains guard immediately.

Kang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hughes defends well.

Kang looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hughes passes Kang's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hughes is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Hughes in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kang tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hughes!
