The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Horton checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Thompson bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Horton! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Horton is rocked!
It looks like Lester Horton has been cut.
Thompson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
A combination from Thompson does no damage.
Thompson misses with a double jab
and Horton counters by clinching up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thompson is trying to force a seperation but Horton has the dominant position.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Horton prevents Thompson from breaking the clinch.
Thompson tries to circle away but Horton has him pinned against the cage.

Thompson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thompson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Thompson drops Horton with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Horton! Thompson dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
