Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Skyler Holderman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny hawk!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holderman rushes hawk and presses him up against the cage.
Holderman content to slow the pace in the clinch.
hawk prevents the takedown attempt.
hawk gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Holderman regains guard.
hawk postures up.
Holderman wants to sweep but no luck.
hawk drops back looking for a leg! Holderman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Holderman manages to kick hawk off! hawk jumps back into Holderman's guard.
hawk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holderman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Holderman is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Holderman has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think hawk should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Holderman has tightened it up now! hawk should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
