The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numidim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Highpants sprawls well. Highpants wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Numidim gets slowly back to his feet.
Numidim throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Highpants throws a left and a right that both miss

and Numidim counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Highpants is looking to stand back up but Numidim counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Highpants.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Highpants looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Numidim is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Highpants wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Numidim working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Highpants's thigh. Highpants counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Numidim wants to stand and escape but instead Highpants has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Highpants throwing strikes from guard but Numidim blocks nicely.
Numidim is trying to hold Highpants in close to prevent damage but Highpants has managed to pass into half guard.
Numidim is looking for a sweep. Highpants is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Highpants stands up out of the half guard.
Numidim pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Highpants throws a shot to the body.
Highpants takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Juba Numidim has been cut.
Numidim looks winded!

Highpants drops Numidim with a nice combination! Highpants dives into Numidim's guard, looking to finish!

Numidim is rocked!

Numidim is working an open guard so Highpants takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Numidim is still on wobbly legs! Can Highpants finish him?
Highpants closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Numidim out cold! Numidim corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
