Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lao Shin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam McRae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shaolin Chamber of Death. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shin misses with a head kick.
Shin jabs McRae to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Shin lands with a kick to the temple. McRae shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Shin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight.
McRae tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McRae takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shin cracks McRae with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lao Shin will probably get the nod.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
