The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rocha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lima paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lima shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rocha's guard.

Rocha decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lima, up you get!

and Lima counters with a single leg into guard. Rocha didn't expect that.
Carlos Lima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dani Rocha.
Rocha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lima's guard.

Rocha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lima swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lima's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lima breaks from Rocha's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lima pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
